[ 2023] TUG members who are also Redweek members

It also had an identical phone number to call for additional information. These are obviously not units posted for rental by actual property owners
They aren't. It is all the same inventory that Vidanta dumps into RCI, II, SFX, Koala and many more in order to generate leads to suck into a timeshare presentation. Vidanta has pretty much killed the owner rental market with their only pay maintenance fees on use setup. Meaning, if you don't go you don't pay so you don't need to figure out a way to recoup sunk money.

I have been receiving emails from them for awhile now, but I never respond. A couple of days ago I received something in the mail with a “time-sensitive gift” that “will expire soon.” Inside there is a “Redweek Travel rewards card” with a $500 credit on it…there is a number to call to activate it.
I won’t be calling.
I have only used Redweek to rent a few times.

I am hoping to connect with members on this forum who might also be Redweek members and who may have been approached with their rewards program sales pitch. Has anyone here been contacted by them?
Hello TugBBS Members,

I wanted to take the opportunity to chime in and further explain RedWeek's new Travel Rewards program. First, it is legitimate and, we're excited to be able to offer our members even more value, savings and ways to travel!

RedWeek Travel Rewards is a one-stop travel platform that makes it easy for you to plan all your travel in one place. With even more travel experiences to choose from, like cruises and tours, members will receive deep discounts on airfare, car rentals, hotels and more.

Additionally, Travel Rewards members enjoy:
  • 10 full-service rental postings per year at no additional charge
  • Travel Credits and Vacation Cash, which members can use to instantly purchase travel or apply for further discounts
  • Free resort stays
  • A dedicated travel concierge to assist you with vacation planning
I invite you to learn more about RedWeek Travel Rewards by calling 1-833-956-3180 or by visiting https://travel.redweek.com/upgrade

No price online. "Call to upgrade" it says. There are several timeshare related industries that I can think of that do the same thing. Why not be transparent on the pricing on the website?

Is Redweek Travel Rewards still available? I just called the number above and it was out of service.
