[2018] Add A Guest To MVC Reservation on Marriott.com ?

Normally, if I rent or let a family member use one of my Marriott Vacation Club weeks, I will add them as a guest. I generally do so via a phone call to Marriott Vacation Club.

Question: Within Marriott.com, there is a way to modify a MVC reservation to add a Guest. Will this work for either a family member or renter? Or must I call and wait on the phone?

I usually go on the Mvci website and do a chat online. No problems whatsoever but you can call too.

You can certainly make changes to your MVC reservation on Marriott.com by searching for the reservation with Reservation number, Surname and Check in date.

I used this online method in May, it was deleted by MVC, and the client service phone support I used in March still stands. Both methods are being disused by MVC, starting in April a new guest of owner form was introduced. Go under your Marriott Vacation Club reservations and pick one. The new form is a link that shows up at the top right.

There is a link to a new online form on the page where it lists your reservations in your account.

It appears as though you can still make changes on the Marriott hotel website under "my trips." There is an option to modify the reservation. I did this today for a week where another party is using the reservation. So perhaps this option will be discontinued in the future? I also did the official form on MVC website.
