Need to replace struts and mounts on our 2000 Buick Century. Car has only 76,000 miles. Time to sell or repair? Anyone know what this repair should run?

I think you clicked on the wrong forum. You probably wanted the one right above.

Front struts and mounts run about $150 in parts for the pair. I don't think I'd sell a car over that. :)

Call 2-3 independent shops. Not the dealer. Get estimates. Pick 1. It isn't a highly technical or spendy job. If you like the car, keep it. Maintenance is always cheaper than payments.

All cars will have parts that wear out. A car that is 14 years and 76000 miles is due for some part fails. I replaced the rear shocks on my 2002 Cadillac Deville a couple months ago, and the car feels BETTER now than it did then! I guarantee that if you replace them, you will fall in love with the car all over again. As a side note, talk to any car repair shop, they will suggest replacing shocks/struts every 50,000 miles. You weren't overdue, but it's time to repair it.
