2 bedroom A/C vs. A/B in Vaction Village at Parkway

I have a 2 bedroom exchange confirmed at VVP for this coming June and just called them to request building preferences. I was told that RCI had me in A/B configuration and they have no control of... Well, RCI agent told me that they only have the room size info which is a 2 bedroom, sleep up to 8, 1470sf unit.
I am confused with conflict answers. Any suggestions from tuggers? I am Ok with building 17-18 based on what I read. Building 19-21 only has A/C unit. Is it worth the fight? We do have 8 guests (3 teens)

As an exchanger there really isn't a fight you can win. You can request and hope. You can't argue into the building or configuration you want. A/C's are bigger. VV Parkway floorplans.

We're heading back to VVP tomorrow and I have requested to stay in the newest building in an A/C unit. My family was there back in August and stayed in the newest building, I think #21 in an A/C. These units are larger, only the C has the two burner stovetop. The bathrooms in both A/C are the same size with the large walk in shower. I had this verified with housekeeping before I accepted the unit last year. Everything is the same minus the full stove.

We checked into the newest building, #21, on Saturday. I met a guest in the gym last night who was initially assigned to building #9. She said that the building was disgusting and the unit smelled like an animal had been inside. They had to go back and forth with the manager for an hour before they were finally moved to #21.
My advice is to try for the newest building when staying at this resort.

Good experience in building 3 (2014)

We had a similar thing happen- There is no way to tell the difference between A/C and A/B before booking in RCI, and the check-in person said they couldn't change it.

We actually really enjoyed our location near the activity center and playground, even though it was an "older" building. We were on the 5th (?) floor and saw pets on the bottom floor. We found our unit clean and very comfortable.

You can check out the vacation villages at parkway website for the differences. A: king bed, jacuzzi tub, full kitchen
B: queen bed, normal tub, kitchenette
C: King bed, soaking tub (same size as jacuzzi no jets), kitchen without oven?

A/B/C all have sleeper sofas.

I will say that building 21 is beautiful!!

Thanks tuggers for all the suggestions. I just request a newer building and high floor and hope they will grant it.

We just returned home from VVP today. My advice is to try for #21 if you want up to date. The units are great with all new appliances, furniture and flat screens mounted on the wall. The teens should have no problem going to the activity center. Also, there is a gym on the 3rd floor in this building, which I don't understand why it is not listed anywhere. No one even mentions this when assigning guests and owners to the new building. I only know because I stayed on the third floor back in August and our room was just past the gym in 301 A/C. If we did not have to walk past the gym, we would have not known it was located on the third floor. I was able to use the gym 4 days this week. This time we were assigned to unit 503 A/C.
