I’m not sure when this happened but it looks like I received my 15 elite night credit sometime during the past week. I thought that when I upgraded to the new card that the elite night credits went away. Was I mistaken?

Anyone else receive the nights as well?

When I look at my app, it doesn’t show the activity but they’re there. I haven’t stayed at hotels much this year.

Yes, Marriott elite night credits posted right around March 1. Both my wife and I got 15 nights.

Unfortunately, 15 is the max you will get this year. Even if you have multiple Chase or Amex Marriott credit cards, the credits won't stack. That's the benefit that went away.

My understanding is the 15 nights/year is still in place and according to marriott gets credited sometime between Feb 1st and March 1st. The elite night credit for every $3000 charged has been eliminated.

Per the T&C of the Bonvoy credit cards, the 15 elite night credits will post on or before March 1 of each year. This year they posted about Feb 26/27.

Does anyone know if we still get a free night on the anniversary of our Marriott (Bonvoy) Credit Card?

.

I got my 15 nights, but I also got bumped to Lifetime Platinum Elite from Lifetime Gold, I am close on number of nights, and well over on years on membership. Did they goof or do me a solid?

I received my 1 night Cert (up to 35k pts) at the same time. I was able to use it for a reservation at a hotel prior to the category increase.

Lifetime Platinum Elite in the old Lifetime Gold plus t some additional benefits from the old lifetime platinum . Call it old gold plus or old platinum minus ... half full or empty.

oohhh, ok. Lounge access is a nice add. So what happens when I hit 600 nights, anything?

Your card anniversary must have been about two months ago. The 1-night certificates post approximately 8 weeks after the card anniversary.

My wife was lifetime Gold before the merger when the qualification was 500 nights. As far as I know, I think all the LT Golds got bumped to LT Platinum post merger.

As to Lounge Access, Golds had lounge access as one of their perks so you should have had access as an LT Gold in the old system.

Since you are currently at LT Platinum, hitting 600 nights will do nothing for your LT Platinum perks.

I had upgraded to the new card shortly after it was introduced. My card anniversary was previously in October, so I was surprised to see the new certificate. I assumed that the the nights credits and certificate issues were now being matched to the same dates, and am thankful for the new timing (to beat the annual category changes in March).

My 15 nights showed up but not my free nights. My Amex SPG has an anniversary of July and my old Marriott Visa had June but was upgraded in Oct. I have no idea if my free night for the Visa will be issued in June or in Oct.

As long as you have the old Chase Marriott Premier card And did not upgrade it, you still get the 1 night per $3000 spend.

My wife still has that old card and still gets that perk, but I've heard (can't remember where) that card is due to be phased out and converted to the Bonvoy card.
