“Combine your passion with a much-needed vacation on one of these themed cruises.

What could veganism, zombies and poker possibly have in common? Answer: there is a themed cruise to match each interest. Combine your passion (from Star Trek to golf) with a much-needed vacation on one of these themed cruises. Here are some of the best and most unique themed cruises for 2018-2019, in order of departure date. Note: we didn’t include music-themed cruises, find our recommendations for those here...

Star Trek: The Cruise III

The scoop: Trekkies can join fellow fans for a variety of theme nights including “Risa’s Festival of the Moon Party,” and a costume ball where Trekkies can show off their most outrageous tributes. Of course, fans can also expect guests from Star Trek’s history including Jonathan Frakes and Wil Wheaton, as well as music from Thomas Dolby.
Dates: January 4-10, 2019
Ship: Norwegian Jade
Port of Departure: Miami, FL
Itinerary: Great Stirrup Cay, Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands), Falmouth (Jamaica)

We had a fabulous time on the Moody Blues Cruise last January. We didn't even want to get off the ship and the ship docked beside us in Grand Cayman got a free concert with the Jefferson Starship (formerly Jefferson Airplane). Many of the same groups are playing on it in 2019 but we have chosen a different music cruise in March out of Ft Lauderdale.

This is the theme cruise that I want, but my DW said, "Hell, no!" :bawl:
