Let me add a couple more: 'Marseille' starring Gerard Depardieu, a political power and corruption story set in the French port city. 'Inhuman resources' starring the soccer great Eric Cantona who is surprisingly good. And Borgen (Danish) which is a much higher rated political drama. All with subtitles, although there is an English dubbed version of Borgen.
