My favorite "ugly" Christmas sweater was worn by one of DW's uncles to the annual family Christmas reunion on her mother's side of the family - this was mid-1970s.

The sweater was white with red sleeves, and on the front was a large Rudolph, made of sewn-on sequins. It was stunning.

I don’t have any Christmas sweater and was actually out shopping this morning. Pretty much sold out.

We have been invited to an "ugly Christmas sweater" party. I had to ask if we could still come if we didn't have any ugly sweaters. Not about to go out and buy one for something I might never wear again.

One of my kids has a Christmas sweater collection, and he wears them year round (weather permitting). He's picky though - nothing mass produced.
