Heading to Lagunamar in a couple of weeks and would like recommendations for grocery delivery to the resort.

We’ll be there in a few weeks and plan to use Uber. There used to be an app called corner shop that was also owned by Uber but I understand they did away with that app and now everything is just through Uber eats.

I have done this a few ways. Chedraui is the better grocery store. https://www.chedraui.com.mx/ Take to local bus to the store and take an Uber back. Quite easy.

You can also order from Chedraui via Uber Eats. The extra cost difference between that going yourself isn't enough to cover your Uber fare back and its easy. We used Uber Eats on our second trip after having been to grocery store a few days earlier. We just needed a few things. It was so fast that I could not have gotten to the store and back in that time, let alone go in and shop. 20 minutes from the time I ordered, they were at the gate.

You will need to get your spanish - english dictionary out to assemble your order on Uber as ordering is in spanish.

The last time we stayed at the Lagunamar in Cancun, we used a woman by the name of Martha Cameron, who has a website grocery and delivers to your hotel. Find her at cbdwedeliver@gmail.com She was great!! The cab cost alone to and from the big grocery store would be around $40 plus tips and you have to shlep the groceries and heavy water bottles yourselves not to mention the time savings.
We're going back next year and will use her again. The only thing is, you have to pay in advance. I used pay-pal but she uses other payment methods as well. Our groceries arrived the day we checked-in and the bellman delivered to our door. The service charge was well worth it.

I think this is the website. I was kind of leery about an email address that seems related to CBD.

Uber eats seems to be the go to for most people. Costco, Selecto Chedraui and Soriana are available options. You can enter your Costco membership # at checkout and get in store prices now( instead of 20% markup). Uber One is a good option if you will be making multiple orders(only 70 pesos per month)

Selecto & Soriana have a service fee and a delivery fee

Yes, that is it. I didn't realize Martha had moved on but the service is great and we will use it again. Thanks for finding the website!
