Thinking about extending a deposit that is about to expire. Anybody have a promotions code that may work to reduce the fee?

I've never heard of such a thing.

When i explored on the extend deposit page it gave me a dropdown that asked for a code if i had one....

The only thing I've ever really seen that promotional code apply to is membership renewals or upgrades. I've never seen a discount code for a discount off an extension. In any case, all discount codes are targeted to individual II members. Just because there is a code out there, doesn't mean it will apply to your account.

As for the extension, what is your plan for the deposit? When does the deposit expire. When you extend a deposit, the deposit gets additional restrictions to where it will only be able to book in 30 day Flexchange. You may be better to use Eplus instead of paying for an extension.

After speaking with someone at Interval and learning of the 30 day restriction we have decided to let the deposit expire. That 30 day restriction is far to limiting.

You can still use Eplus to extend the deposit for up to a year after the latest exchange you can make. It ends up costing less than an extension. As asked previously, when does your deposit expire?

I guess we can't help those that don't want the help.

You are correct. There is nothing wrong with what we decided.
Fair enough, and there isn't anything wrong with it. I just find it curious that you would have been willing to spend at least $109 to extend a deposit for six months or $199 to extend for a year if the deposit were to be unrestricted but wouldn't spend $89 to to extend for a year by using Eplus. To each their own I suppose.
