We have most of the usual group showing up for Thanks Giving and a birthday party. They are cooking everything next door and bringing it over. It should be fun.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanks Giving.

Bill

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
It is round 2 for us! We had our Canadian Thanksgiving in October with a scrumptious turkey dinner at our younger son and DiL's house. Our 2 little granddaughters made individualized placemats for everybody. Our daughter's had airplanes and suitcases drawn on it as she travels so much. DD has flown down to have Thanksgiving #2 with us the last few years at our Florida condo but pressing work commitments prevented her from taking even a few vacation days this week, instead she is flying down to our older son & DiL's house near Tampa in 3 weeks for a few days for an early Christmas with them right before we arrive. DH is disappointed I wont be cooking a turkey for just the 2 of us as he has been getting 3 big turkey dinners within 3 months for the last few years. Instead I will just do a smallish turkey breast and the trimmings.

Happy Thanksgiving all. Good luck also to those celebrating Thanks Giving!!!

Happy Thanskgiving to all. I will start my day my walking Dogs at the Humane Society. Then home to make my Home made Stuffing and Turkey. I blend my own Stuffing Herb Mix.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends!

Happy Thanksgiving to each and to ALL! It will be a small gathering here. Our former group of senior couples has dwindled to just us and one other pair who've moved to assisted living. I'll gather them up and bring 'em home. Paula's promoted making the effort. I'm roasting a turkey breast & stuffing and just a couple of sides. She wanted to use the china and silver one more time.

And football!

Bless Y'all!

Jim

Hope your day is filled with family, friends and love! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you here on TUG.

I am regretting getting a jump on Christmas. Yes, the tree is up and trimmed, but my quiet Thanksgiving morning and courtyard view are now marred by mountains of boxes that cry out to be trundled back down the hall to storage. But that’s a job for tomorrow before the cleaning lady comes to vacuum up the surprising number of pine needles my artificial tree gives off. Have a great Turkey Day everyone!

And for those who enjoy football with their turkey

1pm - Packers at Lions
4:30 - Chiefs at Cowboys
8:20 - Bengals at Ravens
Happy Thanksgiving all!

Go Lions!!! I have a Joey Harrington jersey so if you are asking yourself “who is Joey Harrington?” then you know that I am a true Lions fan.

Wonderful community here at TUG wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving!
Watching Macy's Parade now then later over to friends who are having a group for turkey and all the fixings with football on the TV. Gobble gobble til you wabble ! 🦃

Always reminds me of WKRP in Cincinnati's Turkey Drop...

A belated Happy Thanksgiving to all my TUGer friends. I am thankful for you!! We had about 70 yesterday, we reserve a church social hall, everyone brings something, and everyone helps clean up. Thankful for the arrangement and family and friends.

After it was all said and done, it was a fun time and I thought that all of the left over food was sent off. One of our guests had brought over an entire smoked ham still in the original Safeway wrapper and I found it in the fridge. I asked my wife what or why this is in the fridge. She said a guest had gave it to her yesterday so she put it in the fridge. It's too big to fit in the freezers as a whole ham. It's a 12 pounder. That's todays problem, lol.
