I don't think there's enough info out there to compile such a list reliably. Common sense will help a lot. High demand areas during ACTUAL peaks times will top the list esp for the smaller and/or highest demand properties. Also pay attention to event times. I'm certain MVC has this info but they are not sharing. The method your using will also come into play. If using points at a location mostly in weeks, getting in will likely be difficult for higher demand times. Likewise using II to get into resorts that are mostly or all in points is likely to be more challenging. TUG can help a lot if there are specific areas or resorts you're interested in.

What follows is list of Marriott Vacations Worldwide resorts separated into US points only resorts, Asia points only resorts, US Weeks resorts that can be in the Abound Trust, and other weeks resorts.

The inventory at both the US and Asia 'Points Only' resorts is completely available to those who are using points to book (for those that don't know, at this point Abound Points and the various Asia points systems can be used interchangeably on a 1:1 basis).

The points inventory at the 'Rest of World weeks' resorts is completely dependent on enrolled owners electing their weeks into points.

All the rest fall somewhere in the middle with inventory coming from a mix of deeded weeks held in the Trusts and enrolled owners electing their enrolled weeks. How easy or difficult to book them depends on how many weeks are in the Trusts, how many weeks are enrolled, and how eager enrolled owners are to elect those weeks into points.

Those who have been using MVC a long time, any tips and tricks on getting into high demand locations?
Does marriott release inventory midnight at first day of the month?
I am already able to book 13 months out but cannot see any openings for place like Ritz St Thomas or Ritz Aspen.

Received a sales call with the usual pitch - discounts on room for four days/three nights entailing a 90 minute presentation. The properties offered were the high demand in Mexico, Hawaii etc. Maybe I’m making an incorrect assumption but it seems MVC is taking those properties out of circulation - as they are very hard to book - in order to drum up sales.

I think the Abound Points charts are probably the best insight into how MVC judges demand for all the resorts. Yes, there are various nuances resulting from trust point ownership and willingness of people to elect their owned weeks, but it is a good starting point.
