We are looking to get 3 Sunday check-ins in a row at the MVC Paris in February.

Is this the correct order of operations?

Set up OGS for each specific Paris week, but have 2 more weeks for something far out that won't match such as Hyatt Key West. My understanding is that OGS requires searching for 3 weeks or 3 resorts.

Once this is set, call II and tell them to limit the MVC Paris search to just the Sunday checkin.

If you’re using a Marriott to trade, why incur a fee to add a non Marriott property. Add WSJ/HRA/MM1
These three resorts are not going to match for February. WSJ had never matched.

I've never added extra locations for any MVC OGS. Why is this required?

We aren't using Marriott to trade, we have a private timeshare deposited with II.

If you set up the search for MVF for (example )
February 1, 2026 - February 22, 2026, you will have covered the OGS requirements.
It's 1 resort, 3 weeks, or
3 resorts, 1 week, or
2 resorts, 2 weeks

Then call II and ask to limit to Sunday matches only.

If you can wait I'd do Getaways, they are likely to cost less than $900, or even accommodation certificate. Only the mid Feb week might need an exchange due to European school vacations.

February is low demand. I normally see winter availability via getaways.
They've been seen with free A/Cs

However getaways require some flexibility. You might have a gap or overlap.
Setup your OGS but keep an eye out for potentially cheaper options such as Getaways and A/Cs.

What unit size(s)?

Can someone please explain the search strategy on getting multiple consecutive weeks. I have read the above and I am not sure I understand.

I suggested the OP set up the search range for the 3 week range, to maximize the chance at a match. If the match is accepted, then a new ongoing search is set up for the two remaining weeks, assuming the II Member has multiple deposits available.

Others have mentioned that, due to the low season, Getaway Alerts should be set up and Accommodation Certificates should also be monitored.

HudsHut provided clarification regarding the OGS requirement and wrote "It's 1 resort, 3 weeks, or 3 resorts, 1 week, or 2 resorts, 2 weeks".

Travel demand
  • Interval shows this resort having multiple check-in days but it also shows February as lower demand travel weeks - see screen capture below.
  • But it's also a busy time at Disneyland Paris due to school holidays (link) which might result in late deposits - see screen capture below

What I ended up doing is using 3 private timeshare weeks for an OGS with each one targeting a specific week in February for the Marriott Paris and also 3 later weeks for the Hyatt Key West units in 2027. I can't imagine Key West 2027 would match before Paris 2026, but we would actually be fine if it did. Called in and asked for Sunday checkin only. Took agent about 5 minutes to update on their end. I did get new exchange request emails from Interval. Agent confirmed that there is no way for me to see Sunday only check-in on my end, but they have it on their end.

This all worked as expected as I just got the 3 weeks back to back with Sunday checkins.

If you happen to have any II accom certs from promotions in your account and want to see if you can use them, then there is a load of Feb 2026 MVF inventory available via those. Nothing so far for getaways in Feb.

No my certificate didn't bring any of them up for February.

I find the ACs will more likely see them within 30-60 days of checkin.

Thanks for the update. :)
