After several business-class experiences on long-haul flights, Delta One and Fiji Airways are my favorites. Other airlines get honorable mentions.

Funny that even though Delta is providing a quality product they are having big problems competing with Alaska in Seattle. Delta is losing hundreds of millions per year in Seattle and can't seem to gain much traction and were only making money on their international flights. Once Alaska takes over Hawaiian's 787 look for Delta to pull out of Seattle.

Northwest was my favorite domestic carrier for Biz class, sadly now gone. Air France has been my favorite on European carriers. My first Bis class flight on AF I scored as an op-up from a sale fare coach ticket out of Dulles, due to my elite status on a partner airline.

Yes, but Northwest has been gone for almost 20 years now. I'm sure the service on all airlines have changed dramatically since then, so it is pointless to compare to something that long ago.

After all the downgrades in service after the merger of US airlines from 6 down to 3 majors, I have stuck to European carriers for my TATL flights. Until its takeover and downgrade by USAir, American did still have the best service. USAir takeover finished that.
