Going with the first word that popped into my head this morning worked out well. Two!

Four. Insidious Wordle demon word-picker, anyway... :D

Had four letters by the second guess, and sat here for twenty minutes scrambling and unscrambling them, trying to find a word that fit. Threw out the knowingly incorrect third guess trying to get placement on three of the letters, (only got one,) but that was what kind of gave it to me.
