Rick and I agree that two bags is excessive for most people. I think they should charge for the second bag, if they want more revenue.

I would love a flight to/from Maui on Southwest in Business Class. I would really rather not eat the first class food on any airline, so I wouldn't care one bit about not getting the food. Give me a full can of pop, and maybe a bottle of water, and I am going to fine from the coast for a Hawaii flight.

I flew to Denver over the weekend on SW. From what I could see not many people check bags anyway. The overheads were packed full. Less than half the people on board were down at the carousel picking up bags.

They sell the heck out of early bird, we ended up with B2/B3 on the return. Mostly so people with the big wheelie carryons can get an overhead bin.

I dont get it, we checked one suitcase each for a 2 night weekend trip. I prefer not to play the overhead bin game when bags fly free...
