New travel packages state 110,000 miles

This hasn't cut and pasted very well but looks like it's an increase to 110,000 miles

It's actually a reduction. Packages previously included up to 120k FF miles (132k if you redeemed for United because of the 10% bonus). I don't think there is anything positive regarding the Marriott/Starwood merger in the area of travel packages (especially if the 5 night TPs for MVCI owners are eliminated).

The old 5 day travel packages are still listed in the MVC website -- with the old categories and point rates for the packages. I wonder if/when MVC will notify us whether 5 day travel packages will continue to be an option and, if so, what will be the new point rates for the various packages.
