Closing and transfer costs only. Resort has a $250 transfer fee. First use 2019. Resort credits 14,333 points every year rather than 43,000 once every 3 years. Maintenance fees are due every 3 years though. Last fees were $747. Next fees due January 2020. Also responsible for RCI transfer fees or new membership fee. I have 2 of these contracts that were given to me from long time tug members who taught me a lot and sadly are no longer with us.

It would be a "sales" incentive if you could expand on how you have been able to use this RCI points membership to your advantage.

Just an idea though. It's your offer.

It's a 1 bedroom. I was given it mainly to be used in combination for RCI points for deposit program. It allowed me to convert units from non RCI points resorts into RCI points. It can be taken out of points and used as one week every 3 years in Vegas, but I would strongly discourage that as it's not the most economical way to use it.

Since I didn't know what Points for Deposit was I looked it up. Here's the explanation from the RCI website:

What is Points for Deposit?
Points® for Deposit allows RCI Points® subscribing members, who also own an eligible week at an RCI Weeks affiliated resort, to deposit that week with RCI and receive Points for that deposit. They can then use those Points in the RCI Points exchange program.

By combining your ownerships in this way, you can increase your Points balance and increase the flexibility of RCI Points membership, opening up possibilities for stays at resorts for which you may otherwise have had insufficient Points, longer trips or even more trips.

Even if your week is already deposited in the RCI Weeks exchange program, if it is eligible for Points for Deposit, you can still take advantage of this program. You can convert up to 4 eligible weeks per resort per calendar year to Points through the Points for Deposit program.

So how many Points for Deposit do you get for this week?

Never mind. I see that it gets 43,000 RCI points
