Maybe it's time to add another category or two to the timeshare rental forum.. I check it quite often to see what stuff comes up that is NOT florida for the most part..

Next April we will be heading out to go full time in our 30 ft airstream, heading up the east coast then heading west to spend winter in the Yuma az area.

In looking for rentals it affords a week out of the RV in some nice location we have not been able to visit before especially ones out west. (we live on east coast NC area. )

maybe segregate them sorta like RCI does. So if I want to see what is available in nevada I can go to the rocky's area of US..

might make it easier for tug and non tug renter to find something without having to meal through 50 non out west unit.

thanks

At this point in time, we don't want to add any additional pages to TUG. Since the all rentals must be for the next 45 days, you really only have to browse a page or 2 at most.

It would help if people would name where their timeshare is located. Not just the name of the resort.

I made a suggestion a couple of years ago (at least) that TUG BBS could save some server space by deleting a lot of the pages. It was shot down. I forget why that was but it's hard to see how deleting 150 or so pages of Offered posts and 350 or so of Wanted posts would be a problem.

I think deleting posts causes issues with the post counts. Given the low costs of storage and server space, the extra posts are of little issue. I don't really see any issue with those old pages, no one goes back to look at them anyway and most posts people are interested in are going to be on the first few pages anyway.

you can search for those items in the marketplace if you like, the advanced search tool lets you narrow down your search criteria in that regard.

probably wouldnt hurt to have folks mention the city/state in the LMR titles too, although many already do this its not required
