Thanks Marty, that's helpful. I do appreciate you doing that. I'm just digging out from our Aruba trip as we got home about MN Monday night. Starting to plan this year GO trip and starting the planning for next years GO proceeded by a week in Charleston at the Bluegreen resort as a couples only portion.I called the resort for you, Dean.
I spoke with Miles, the Director of Guest Relations there, and he is an authoritative
source for all things GOLF at Heritage.
If needed, he's there now @ (843) 363-3012.
He stated that if using DC Points, one week's stay gets 10 rounds of free golf,
and at least 3 nights gets 4 free rounds.
Less than 3 nights does not qualify for any free golf at all.
"Free golf privileges" at Heritage include both Green fees and Cart = totally free.
Golf Courses = Shipyard, Port Royal, Oyster Reef.
I know Grande Ocean had a package included with purchase early on but it was a yearly paid thing IIRC. I haven't heard of it in quite some time, I don't know if an owner could have kept it going or not. They sometimes have specials with the same company that Heritage contracts with but there are options you can access directly including package discounts and short notice discounts. IIRC Manor Club in Williamsburg used to provide golf, I don't know if they still do. This is paid for by the membership so it tends to increase dues quite a bit.Are there any other HHI MVCI resorts that offer/include golf as part of staying under either the DC or legacy weeks programs? Can't find much online that isn't really dated.
At one time Heritage Club included free golf at the Sea Pines courses. Still true or not?
Since I don't know much about Marriott, what locations would [FREE GOLF] be applicable to? Heritage Club as mentioned in this thread, but is there any other location that free golf would apply to?
