It seems I have been deMaxed

It’s addicting isn’t it? I counted the other day and I have made and/or cancelled over 20 reservations just with 2026 points. Making the most of my AI dues I guess lol
 
It is nice having Legacy Elite Premier right now, with the reservation system now requiring that they be cancelled and rebooked to walk many of my reservations (Valdoro and Ocean Oak)
I just attended owner's update at West 57th and they are really pushing The Quin deeds. I have 3 resale deeds and I was surprised they allowed me to do the update. (I own West 57th resale). They made me an offer of 11520 points deed at The Quin if I trade in my Parc Soleil 11,200 annual and give them $17500 and I would be Max. I said no. I think several posts have said they became Max after buying The District resale deed. I might try that to get Maxed in 2026. Have you heard of others getting Max buying resale deeds?

If they would sell you the Penthouse studio for $17500 with trade in then it’s worth it and Max is just a nice plus. Some who bought W57 resale got Maxed too so I’m not so sure if District is that different. It can still be hit or miss and not guaranteed to last if HGV finally fixes the whole mess of different booking systems. Well easiest fix for HGV is always just giving MAX whoever wants it, lol.

If they did they would have to reimburse a lot of folks at this point.
 
There are a couple of platinum studio premiers (14,880 bHC pts) at The Quin for sale from Judi Koz for $15K and $17.5K. Don't come with Max, but I rarely see anything in Max worth writing home about.
 
Does anyone know if only the NY and DC bHC resale properties are triggering Max, or has anyone heard of other bHC locations like Elara or La Pacifica doing the same thing?
 
Did you have any HVC bookings that you made while you were maxed? If so did they stay when you were demaxed?
Answering my own question as I got demaxed - the HVC bookings that I had stayed after being demaxed (for now at least)

Watch it, wouldn't surprise me if you are re-Maxed after midnight

What level did it Max you at? If the benefits are less than your Elite benefits you might want to contact them about it proactively.

I had just been regular Elite.

But I would be Preferred+ with the new points.
 
My resale W57th Maxed me, but I expect it to drop off when they figure that out.
I wouldn't volunteer any info unless you don't want it. I know some folks who didn't want it and couldn't get rid of it. They would unMax then but then at midnight, they would get Maxed again. They had to call to unMax, use their elite premier benefits, then get maxed again that night
 
I am just wanting them to switch me to the Inclusive Club Membership, that is really all I care about.

If I end up with max fine, it would give me more options than Elite. The only real Elite I use is 7 night NO fee, but if I get AI Member Dues, that perk will be a non-starter.

New deed was my experience in January. Seems some get it by accident.
 
I got Max after purchasing W57th resale. Then, just disappeared, did NOT come back. What happened?
There doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason to how one keeps or looses free Max. Not sure how I’ve kept mine to be honest. I even attend several OUs and they identify me as Max 🤷🏽‍♂️

They don’t question how you got it?
 
I've also been de-maxed! Funny thing is, I called them last month because I have not been charged my Club Dues. I wanted them to charge me AI (I purchased The District resale last year, which gave me half Max, which gave me free reservations for Max properties but charged me for HGVC Legacy Properties). They insisted that I should be Max so I said I should not be charged reservation fees at all. It worked for about a month... until last Tuesday and I was able to book two HGVC properties for free. All of a sudden, I was de-maxed last Tuesday> I checked and my reservations that were booked for free are still there. I still have not been charged Club Dues at all, by the way....
