Cypress Palms and Nashville units being added to Worldmark

Wyndham Nashville near Opryland or Nashville Margaritaville downtown? Both would be a great addition to Worldmark inventory.

Both of those sound great! I haven’t seen anything about this. Has there been a timeline announced when those would be added?

Are they actually adding units to the Worldmark trust or is it just an inventory swap that might go away later?

Do Worldmark owners get the spices at Nashville and Cypress Palms and do they have to pay for Internet?
Like other Worlmark properties.

I wouldn't say the Nashville near Opryland is that great - see my reviews and video...

I wonder what units Worldmark gave up in order to add these properties.

Are those here at TUG?
Yes, look at TUG2 for the full review, and see the central states timesharing forum
for the video link, as well as an abridged text review if you want to comment / argue with my positions.

I always post my reviews in the location section of TUG that corresponds to the TS.

Wow; both seem pretty bad...
Hope Wyndham does not take prime WM units to pay for these not-so-nice units in WM system :-( ...

The more dots on the map the easier for sales to push the product.
Also reduces my need for a Wyndham TS as I can use my WM credits. If they add some locations in the Florida Panhandle, we’ll be set w/ what we currently own.

At least to my mind, these are more honest "dots on a map" in that you can I think straight book them via your existing system - it's not Club Pass or whatever internal exchange. As a Wyndham owner, I wouldn't mind more trading like this to open up more dots for everyone, but I can also see people might well feel like this particular dot isn't worth it (I agree) - but in general I think it's a much better merger of systems than what HGV has been doing for instance.

The Wyndham Nashville is not bad. There is one building that is two story and one of the oldest buildings there that has no elevators that is an oddball, but none of the units I have stayed there has been bad. The sales office and staff is horrible there, so stay away.

I doubt you are going to get your spices, and probably get free internet.

At Patriots Place now a WorldMark also they have the spices at the front desk only for Worlldmark people but the internet is free so WorldMark owners are getting over

Ik
At patriots place
What spices?

Supposedly Wyndham tried to get the trust to eliminate the spices for free internet and the trust said no way

I believe when weeks get forfeited one way or another they convert them to what to whatever points they need the most. They don’t auction off foreclosed weeks they just convert them into points. I’m pretty sure they are converting Wyndham weeks into WorldMark trust points

There would certainly be an extra cost associated with this to the annual fees. They probably pay less than a buck for that pack of spices where the WiFi would probably run them several dollars per unit week.

It seems to me that is unlikely to be true. Wyndham uses the "free" internet for travelshare owners as a huge sales incentive

Worldmark properties there is a fee for internet.
