Okay. THought I would assemble this for Vistana resorts like I did for Marriott properties many years ago. This is a work in progress.

Items to note;

• This was compiled using Marriott.com and Vistana.com information
• I tried to match up unit codes to the unit types based on matching square footage
• Some of the resorts have a lot of duplication (Vistana Villages, Kauai Resort Villas and others). This is mainly because there are a lot of unit types on Marriott.com and I couldn't match them all up with Vistana.com. So I left all the villa types as listed on Vistana.com and Marriott.com in hopes of being able to match them up later then remove the duplicate.
• If you see anything that needs updated, post it in this thread and I will update my spreadsheet. I won't repost a new list until I have quite a few updates.

I am not sure. Marriott usually does and we see things trending that way at Vistana properties. For example, SO reservations tend to now be kept in their unit type and/or phase. For example, if I book a SVV Key West with StarOptions, they keep me in Key West.

Hope it works out. For some reason the SC resorts tend to do things completely differently. They assign units on more of a rotational basis and have been known to move a non owner exchanging back in down in view category while moving an owner up that exchange into the resort.

I'm not sure I understand your explanation. What do you mean by "rotational basis"? Who would be a non-owner exchanging back into the resort? You're saying someone who owns at another resort and exchanges into MOW (such as me, in my case) might get higher priority on a view than an exchanger in a different situation?

And to be clear, we're only talking about priority as between competing II exchanges, and not between weeks owners at the resort staying their ownership or points owners who booked using points?

Sorry, I shouldn't have said "non owner exchanging back in". I updated my post with a strikethrough on "back". Yes, we would be talking about competing exchanges. So if an owner of the resort is exchanging in and a non owner is exchanging in, history has seemed to show they will "upgrade" the owner exchange in and "downgrade" the non owner. Neither is really an upgrade or downgrade because II doesn't guarantee views. But if you are looking at the view codes on the underlying deposits, you could call them an upgrade/downgrade.

Update: we arrived early for checkin (a little after 1:00) and they had already assigned us an ocean front unit. At our request they gave us a higher floor than we originally assigned. So it seems that either the underlying unit or our prior request (can’t really say which) did get us the ocean front view, but showing up early was helpful in improving on that view.

Yes, log in to your account and go to My Trips, There will then be a link to lookup a reservation that is missing from the list. You should also be able to add your Bonvoy number. If you jus booked it today, you probably won't be able to look it up on Marriott.com until tomorrow.

The list is not complete for SVR because there are so many combinations of villa types and sections.

That is a standard 2BR and not a 2BR lock off.

Thanks - that is pretty cool ! I figured out i could update my guest info on the reservation itself with my Bonvoy number. And it is now in "My Trips". I also got another email from Marriott.

I will start using this for my other Interval reservations under the Marriott umbrella. Since I have EPlus i will just do it closer to when we go.
