Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan

Hi,

I just got back from Taiwan - I was curious if anyone stayed at Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan or if its easy to trade into?

I just saw it while i was in the area and was curious and might make me buy something in RCI or Wyndham if it is accessible as i only own Marriott right now.

Is there a TS at Sun Moon Lake? I thought it was just a regular resort.

It is not in the RCI directory, nor is it a Wyndham resort, so neither of those are paths in.

Ah I always associated Wyndham with Timeshares. I never actually seen just a hotel of Wyndham which it may be?

Wyndham Sun Moon Lake is a Wyndham Hotel and not a Club Wyndham timeshare resort. You can book it using Wyndham Rewards points that are derived by using the Wyndham Rewards Earner or Wyndham Earner Plus Credit Card. You can convert some of your Club Wyndham timeshare points to rewards points, but the conversion rate is poor.

Personally, I use the WYN Earner and Earner Plus cards to build up my rewards points to stay at Wyndham hotels. Wyndham hotels are 7,500 pts per night, 15,000 PPN, or 30,000 PPN, depending on the quality. The WYN Sun Moon Lake is 30,000 PPN.
