We've traveled to Orlando many times and have never had a problem finding great inexpensive accomodations (with a ts presentation of course). Do these deals exist in CA? We're looking in the Annaheim area. I did a general search on Yahoo and nothing jumped out at me. Thanks.

Anaheim only has two timeshares: Dolphin Cove and Peacock Suites. They are both small, older, modest places - they've both been sold out for years. DVC and Wyndham both have TS's under construction. DVC isn't in active sales yet, and I don't know about the Wyndham resort. Also, I think you will find that California is more expensive then Florida, in general.

Peacock suites has a presentation selling Shell Vacation Club points. We attended that one while we stayed there and weren't at all impressed. The sales presentation was extremely pushy. We could have told that salesperson we owned 25 weeks (this is when we only owned 6 weeks), and he would have still insisted that we needed Shell points. He was obnoxious.

Dolphin's Cove has some units in Fairfield/ Wyndham points, but I don't know if they are selling from that location.

Marriott's Newport Coast isn't far from there, and they are still selling.
