Ok- I got a great deal on two units at Orbit One for Halloween week but now I'm worried that I made a mistake. Is the place a dump? We don't care about fancy amenities- just a decent pool (We have stayed at Summer Bay & OLCC & never used any of the perks ). I can easily change our resort choice but it's gonna cost us about $500 to do so..... Need some honest opinions please. Thanks!

The most recent TUG reviews are from 2003. The TripAdvisor reviews are a lot more recent, some from August of this year. They definitely show an upward trend, too.

An okay exchange.

Older resort, no bugs that we saw, furniture was stained (light yellow/white is not a good choice for timeshare sofa and chair fabric), comfortable bed, nice kitchen, nice pool. The first unit on our last trip of last October smelled of smoke, they switched us with a smile. The customer service people are pretty nice. :) We have stayed there twice. Our son and his friend thought it was wonderful when they were with us. Goes to show how bad hotels really are, if you ask me. The rating was Hospitality with RCI and it is an appropriate rating.
