Fairfield Santa Barbara - Latest Info?

Can anyone tell me if they have begun repairs at this resort? I called Fairfield a couple of days ago, and was told they expect it to re-open in July 2007...but too late for us to use our week 2. The lack of communication from Fairfield to its owners at this resort since it closed last year due to Hurricane Wilma has been non-existent. I expected more from an organization the size of Fairfield.

After this experience, I wouldn't recommend Fairfield ownership to my worst enemy. When we bought at this resort, it wasn't owned by Fairfield, and I wish it had stayed that way.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest, can anyone who has been by this property lately tell me if they've actually begun the repairs?

Andy has been keeping up on what is happening pretty much. As for being surprised....what incentive does FF have in fixing the resort ASAP?

Are they still collecting maint fees & assessments? Paying front desk staff or maid & cleaning services? Remember the cow & the free milk? OK OK maybe too harsh? But they should be able to affort a 39 cent stamp and a piece of paper for communications.....they send dozens of invites to me...no worry about the costs in that respect.
