Absolutely none of those applied to my husband.

Studies such as the one quoted in the article are just factors they found most frequently
They are not absolutes and are not found in all cases
They are found in a majority of the cases
We know smoking cigarettes will generally lead to early deaths
There are people that have smoked for 70 years and are still doing fine

I look at this and laugh, my husband had no fillings. When he went in for surgery,the staff was sure they must be false teeth. He never smoked, didn’t drink, exercised, had over one hundred graduate credits in science, read science books all the time,exercised, was really careful what he ate, weighed about 155 pounds, was not on any drugs at all until prescribed in his seventies, but heredity got him.
I feel really bad for my grandkids, one grandma who has had three different cancers.
, a grandpa , great grandmother. Great great grandmother with demenTia. A great uncle with severe MS.
another very strange thing, my grandmother did not have diabetes, but her entire family did and severe. My mother did not have diabetes, but all five of her brothers and sisters did, and four died in their sixties, while my mother lived to 94.

Every one alive has some exposure to something known to cause dementia was my point. Especially if age is included as a cause.

Age yes, it is terrifying seeing so many neighbors affected by dementia As they are getting older. But it really stinks doing all the things the experts say will prevent disease and getting it, and getting it early too.

Superoxide Dismutase could be the answer. Interesting recent studies suggest boosting mitochondrial function could improve health and or delay the disease. SOD production declines significantly at 40.
