I have discovered a Town of Collingwood planning application approved in 2021 to convert the Living Stone/Cranberry Inn and Club Cranberry buildings into a retirement residence. Based on the information I have so far, the Timeshare units will not exist once all renovations are complete. As a TS owner I would have expected to be informed. I would further have expected to either be bought out of the remainder of my contract or offered a conversion to the Living Water resort owned by the same party and located across the street. Has anyone who owns at CC been contacted? Has anyone got experience with this type of situation and what TS owners are entitled to?

It seems the only “play” so far has been to invite TS owners for a “member update”, which is a pitch to convert to a deeded fractional ownership at LW. We were offered a $35k ‘incentive’ to give up our current TS at CC to buy into LW.
