Exactly. Craig Lodges either. That list is just the Hilton site with the resort filter turned on and isn't necessarily correct. Ocean 22 is on it but a person, on FB, commented that they didn't get the credit.

I'm hoping that it uses the same logic to apply the semi-annual credits, if it does than it will likely post. I will update here, when I see what happens.

Bay Club wasn't on the other resort list yet I received my $200 semi annual credit anyways. That is why I asked and didn't go by the list. But some HGVC are on that list.
Yes. The Hilton site seems like a bunch of words entered by different people at different times w/o scrubbing them into a real category in a DB. I wasted time trying to find the deed I was buying and eventually figured out the addresses are more accurate than the names & filters are. That worked out in the end, but the HIlton site didn't predict it would. You could get it.

End of last year and the beginning of this year we cleaned up on credits and 14x. My Aspire - $250 then $200, Wife's Aspire - $250 then $200, my Surpass - $50 then $50, and our son's Surpass - $50 then $50.... So $1,100 plus the HH points. That is more than the MFs on one of our Craig weeks.

Since the Amex website points to the Hilton Resort filter, i think you would have pretty good case for an appeal for a resort that shows there, but does not trigger the credit. That said i don't want to have to spend time with appeals..

It was a couple chat sessions with Amex to fix Craig Lodges.

i believe my activation fee for Las Vegas Paradise got me the credit - doesn't seem like my Lagoon, MarBrisa, or W57th MFs did.

You only get 1 semi-annual, starting in 2024, and perhaps you got a targeted like I did. You are NOT going to get a credit for EACH MF paid.

What other credits were you expecting?

i did not get the same credit in november or in january last year for Lagoon MFs. I had to call manually in January and haven't dealt with november yet. I know W57 doesn't qualify. Some people say MarBrisa qualifies.

You only get 1 credit per card. Do you have more than 1 card?

we have two cards. we should have each gotten the old membership year benefit for charges from our anniversary date mid Nov 2023 through Dec 31 2023, then each gotten the new calendar year benefit for charges made after Jan 1 2024. But we only got the latter, and what I'm saying is I think it is paying activation on our Las Vegas deed that got us the benefit, as opposed to paying MFs on Lagoon, because the latter did not automatically get us the benefit in Jan 2023 or Nov 2023.

2 cards makes mores sense, it just that you never said you had 2 cards, just multiple MFs. Other have pursued this via a phone call. It might be worth your while to place a phone call to AMEX to figure out what happened. AFAIK Lagoon is on that list, but you are correct in saying the W57th is NOT.

We did most of ours all on 1 deed, Blvd. Just paid the credit amount on each card, so $200 twice and $50, four times. The rest at Craig plus the remainder at Blvd.

They are saying that I already maxed the $250 for the previous year. This is even though that was paid in February 2023, and my anniversary date was November 15, so according to others here and FlyerTalk it should be eligible again before 12/31/23.

That is odd. My wife and I booth received the $250 last year and the $200 after Jan 1st.

well each of us got the $250 in April (purchases in Jan) 2023. Anniversary Nov 2023. More purchases Dec 2023. That is what she is saying isn't eligible. Then more purchases Feb 2024 - 9 days later got credits, you can never tell what for but I'm guessing the Feb purchases, not the Dec purchases.

My understanding is that the "system" reset to a calendar year vs an anniversary year so that is why my wife received the new card in November, got the $250 because it was still $250 until December 31st, and then received the $200 after Jan 1st.

The Anniversary date on my wife's card is 11/18 and we opened it in 2021. Here is when we charged and got reimbursed for the Resort Credit:

Charged MF on 12/29/21 and reimbursed $250 on 12/30/21

Charged MF on 12/23/22 and reimbursed $250 on 12/27/22

Charged MF on 12/7/23 and reimbursed $250 on 12/15/23

Charged MF on 1/1/24 and reimbursed $200 on 1/10/24

From what you have posted I think they should have credited you an additional $250.

mrs. brp had a late December reset last year and faced this same issue. She called and worked with them to understand that the prior payment was before the rest and they eventually fixed it. Even though the qualification year has changed to calendar, they should still have record of the prior anniversary year. It may be worth calling back to stress this point. Again.

Escalate if needed.

Cheers.

I just found that from our initial signup too. It clearly states its driven by card anniversary date.

IMO...Amex is confused. They told me in chat that even though it was anniversary (Apr 23 to Apr 24) we had to spend it before Dec 31 to get the $250 credit from last year before the $200 began.

Did you use a credit after April 2023 but before Dec 31, 2023. If so you already used that use year. in 2023 the credit was $250 once a year and was anniversary year based. But that ended on Dec 31 and everyone was changed. On Jan 1 2024 it moved to semi-annually $200, based on a calendar year.

So when in 2023 did you get any credits?

I deposited the $250 directly to a Hilton resort in Dec 23 that we visited in Jan 24 and used the funds for room charges. I also augmented the stay with my $200 credit. We are two player so we were able to spend $450 x 2 at the resort. We were also able to take advantage of a an AMEX offer to spend $750 get $150 at a Mexican Hilton resort so this visit was sweet.

Technically given the wording on anniversary stated above, I shouldn't have had to deposit the $250 prior to Dec 31 and should have been able to spend directly in Jan since it was prior to my anniversary date. Better safe than sorry though.

i don't know why Lagoon works for some people but not others. it's annoying with this card. Another nice thing about picking up a Vegas deed is that our annual MF, split between Dec and Jan, will max out our two card $200 resort benefits without having to chat up Amex.

I don't believe that this is correct. The new policy came into effect in 2024, and I think it wiped out all unused old-policy $250 credits, regardless of anniversary date. Basically, I think it was a reset and you may have been hard-pressed to win that one.

Cheers.
