After 25 Years of Ownership, we need to relinquish our MROP Points

We have 2 weeks with Discovery Vacation Networks with a point value of 150,000 with Interval International. Now in our 70's, we don't use them like we used to. DVN wants $5,383.20 to transfer and exit our membership. Any suggestions on better exit options for us?

You can try giving it away here on TUG, offer to cover transfer fee and possibly some other incentive (transfer points, reserved week, or cash). Most people here are not familiar with MROP and even less will know about DVN and II CIG (Interval International Club Interval Gold) points. I own a MROP week but have no idea if or how DVN/CIG transfers.

Multi Resort Ownership Plan. If you search the forums for "MROP" and check the titles only box you will get a bunch of results. It is a like a trust based ownership collection of a bunch of independant resorts. I believe it is managed by VRI.

Yes MROP is a Multi Resort Program within VRI/Capital Vacations, which means we can book into any of the VRI properties or deposit 75,000 points into Interval International. These points transfer to prime properties any season within Interval. Our annual dues are $1029.74 per year for each week.
