What does "pre-selected" mean? I assumed it meant pre-approved, so I didn't unfreeze my credit bureau accounts. It wasn't denied, but I had to unfreeze my Experian account which was a pain, then I had to go through two Chase voice menus, which was also a pain. When I finally got to the right human, he submitted the application again, and I was approved. Now I have 3 months to charge $4,000 to get the 90,000 points. No problem, since we use credit cards for everything.
If you're not "pre-selected" you only get 60,000 points.

I never carry a balance, so I don't care about their 22% interest rate. In this country, the average credit card debt is over $6000, and the median interest rate is over 24%. Yikes! What happened to the idea of saving until you can afford to buy something? If people didn't spend so much on interest, they'd have more to buy stuff.
