I'm probably not the only one who woke up to those emails this morning. I knew they were for reservations I had cancelled but because those reservations dates are within 14 days I had a moment of panic. I logged in to make sure those reservations weren't somehow showing back up in our account. They weren't. Then I looked back in my emails to make sure I had the emails from when I cancelled those reservations. Sometimes it's a good thing that I'm bad about cleaning up my emails.

The phone line waits are likely to be longer than normal today because I'm probably not the only one to get those erroneous confirmation emails last night. Don't they usually go out in batches? My emails came in at 1:12, 1:14, 1:27 and 1:55am this morning. Those reservations were cancelled on March 25, 26 and 27.

I had a similar experience. I received an email at 12:36 a.m. today saying "Your reservation has been canceled" and then a second email at 12:42 a.m. saying "Your vacation is confirmed" — for the same reservation!

I had canceled this reservation on March 25, the same day I booked it, because the dates wouldn't work for my family. It was within the 14-day window.

I don't see any change to my points balance, and the reservation doesn't appear on my upcoming trips list online — as it shouldn't, since it was canceled. So I'm crossing my fingers these were just erroneous emails and my account is correct.

Another Wyndham glitch. Sigh.
