Your recommendation Ft. Lauderdale hotels with shuttle to airport and cruise

Are there any recommendations for a simple, clean, quiet hotel with shuttle service to airport and cruise port in Fort Lauderdale?

I have read so many contradicting reviews for all of them that my head is spinning.

Free shuttle to airport or cruise terminals? Do a Mapquest search and you will find that the airport runways just about end at the cruise terminals. And cabs are very reasonable.

I can take a cab from the airport to Sunrise Blvd and A1A, about 6 miles, for $22 each way. And there are always cabs cruising A1A between on A1A to/from airport.
