What is the closest timeshare to Yosemite National Park? How far is it? We are planning a week at Lake Tahoe over the 4th of July 2011 and would like to visit Yosemite National Park on our trip. Which would be the best week to visit the park - the week before or the week after 4th of July week? We will be at Lake Tahoe Vacation Resort - July 2-9, 2011.

Would the week before or the week after 4th of July week, be the better option, less visitors to the park, etc.?

The 4th of July falls on a Sunday, therefore some people will have Monday the 5th off, so I'd visit the week previous.
