I have put a week for Vistina Villages (6059) on hold. The resort listing at RCI, does say the 1 in 4 rule is enforced.

We had stayed at the property before, I called RCI to verify the year was 2003. I asked if the 1 in 4 would be enforced and was told, its ok with us. The resort seems to have no idea what I am talking about.

Has anyone heard of the resort refusing checkin for 1 in 4 violations. What are the chances??

Thanks

Gordo

Gordo,

Sometimes the front desk staff is not aware of the exchange rules enforced by the resort. However, it is likely that another member of the resort's staff would discover the error and ask us to cancel the exchange. If it isn't discovered sooner, you could even be turned away at check-in.

I strongly recommend that you not confirm a vacation in violation of the one-in-four rule.
