We stayed at the newly opened Springhill Suites outside Yellowstone over the 4th. Used points (cat 4) and a free night voucher for what would have been ~$400 per night (with tax) cash rate (I assume it was at a premium due to the holiday).
Definitely a two thumbs up experience. Beautiful property with a resort feel. Large hot tub as well the typical pool. The river that runs in back of the property was popular for boating and tubing, with rentals located next door. Parking a bit limited. Bag and grab breakfast due to Covid but the selections were decent. Ice machines on each floor which also dispensed filtered water.
I came away saying it was the nicest SHS we have ever stayed at and was told that when Marriott corporate came for the grand opening two weeks prior they had said the same thing.
We used the location as a jumping off spot to tour Yellowstone during the day and had a great visit overall.
