Wyndham's title department is so inept and for $399 per contract, they should be the best!

We sent six deeds in one giant envelope with a check for $2,394 for transfer fees (which they cashed 3 months ago), and we got an email today saying this:

They listed five contracts with no deeds for transfer. Baloney! All six deeds were in the one envelope, cover letter included, deeds were paperclipped separately.

Wyndham has screwed up so many times, I don't know why anyone would want it.

I received an email from them early on, when they received the check, asking what the check was for. I told them to read the cover letter that was attached to the check.

Does anyone wonder why I dislike Wyndham? Let me count the ways! I think they need to hire Jethro Bodine because he was smarter.

Sad to say, but you should have sent each one separately with a separate check for each one. While what you did shouldn't be complicated, you need to understand who it is that you are working with.

Yes, lesser brains than Jethro Bodine. I would bet they cannot do their guzzintas nearly as well as Jethro could. Jed was so proud of that boy.

Should we seriously have done that? What difference do you think that would make? I assume you are joking.

Fortunately, I had copies of the deeds on my computer because I had to pay per page for each deed from Hawaii Bureau of Conveyances because they don't send the deed back to the address on the deed for SIX TO EIGHT MONTHS. I sent the copies of the deeds I had on my computer, because I saved them in my downloads file. I did this today. Sucks to deal with them, absolutely the WORST customer service possible.

Yes, I would also have sent them with separate checks and in separate envelopes as well as @dioxide45 suggested.
When I was divesting myself of Bluegreen, each contract was handled separately and had its own $500 fee.
Luckily with them, everything is submitted online so it is actually rather efficient.
Sorry you are dealing with this.

Marriott charges $25 for transfer, and they are far more efficient and have never lost anything.

Did you happen to write each contract number on the check? If so, send them a copy of the check to refresh their memory.

That's a little simple.
Marriott transfer fee is $25 but you have to first get the deed out of your name.
So $350 to LTT plus transfer fee.

I know you are going to say you do the deed work yourself but you are not the average person.

Wyndham doesn't type the deed for $399. They just transfer for $399. It's the highest in the industry.

Worldmark by Wyndham charge me and the seller the $399 transfer fee on my last Worldmark deal. Every time I speak to someone they say it's someone else I need to speak with. When I finally get to speak to this person, they take the information and say they have noted this and then supposedly they send it somewhere else. It's been dragging on for a long time.
