Wyndham Waikiki Beach Walk availability for Christmas

We're thinking of buying Waikiki Beach Walk or Bali Hai. Does anyone know how easy it is to book Christmas in Waikiki at 10 months without owning there? Obviously the MF at Bali Hai are more attractive. Our Kona contract offers a 13 month booking window with a couple neighboring resorts, does Waikiki Beach Walk or Bali Hai offer something similar?

So I *think* but am not sure, but Bali Hai, because it's part of the "Outrigger Resort Club" lets you book with 12 month priority at Waikiki Beach. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me will be able to chime in, but I own at Bali Hai and under my ownership it lists the Bali Hai Contract as part of the "Outrigger Resort Club by Wyndham."

That would be a perfect combo, 12 months is more than enough. Could you (or someone who owns Bali Hai) mock book Waikiki Beach for late September 2025? Even Royal Garden would be ok for Christmas trips, which we won't be doing every year anyways.

I only have an even year contract, so unfortunately I can’t test it right now.

Just checking myself, my odd year Kona contract gives me a 12 months booking window, which has plenty of points for a stay on both islands. I had looked up 13 months, but never 12, so this was very helpful.

Didn't they take down Outrigger in Oahu as it wasn't Beach Walk but an entirely different "hotel?" When I had a Bali Hai with Outrigger I priced out a stay once. I think that it was almost a million points. And Beach Walk has a serious structural problem with their pool that seems to not being addressed.

Personally I'd set up a search on RCI. (Okay, technically "I" would bypass the Wyndham resorts altogether and stay at a Marriott at Ko Olina or Maui.) But, you might be able to snag a Wyndham on RCI on a search at less points than through the Wyndham portal. But all of Hawaii is on priority blackout so that may actually help you book as by the time Christmas rolls around, most exceptions will have been used (if they were ever going to be used.)
