Wyndham TUG member meet-ups?

Okay, I have to ask. Even though I'm an introvert, and it can be very challenging for me to try to hold a conversation with people I don't already know fairly well. Do any of you ever meet up when at Wyndham resorts? Do you just run into each other, PM each other, or is there an existing thread somewhere on TUG that I've missed?

There are a few other members (or guests) here I wouldn't mind meeting and talking to, if we happened to be at the same resort (or in the same area) at the same time. Even though it wouldn't be the easiest thing in the world for me to do. Just curious since I rarely even chat with others at the resorts when I'm traveling.

I met up with 3 solo travelling guys at Palm Aire last week ... I think I drank a good 8+ beers as did guy #1; I was #2 and was pounding them done like him. Then Guy #3 showed up and an hour later, guy #4. I don't think they were other TUG members ... it was the "NO CAR" gang.

But that is NOT my usual met & greet style. Many of us post hints at where or when we might be travelling ... Feel free to PM anyone who might be going in your 'vacationing" direction ... all they can do is NOT reply, say they are busy or agree to met. Or post as request in the lounge WHERE you resort you will be going ... asking if other Tuggers will be in the area and might like to get together!

Yes, I have met TUGGERs ... esp enjoyed the Jan 20th Golden Corral meet up in Orlando ... that happens about than same time every year.... really nice time and very relax. Wish I could be there again this year ... I took my 12 yo nephew with me as we were at AKV for the week.

I only met TUG members a few times, and they were all at Waikiki Beach Walk. I always ask -the ones who aren't TUG members I sell them on TUG. I've gone as far as talking to new developer purchasers (the ones with a smile on their face and carrying the WVR pack). After speaking to me their smiles are gone and they rush to verify on eBay what I told them. I also tell them about TUG before they leave.

We are going to be in Myrtle Beach from 12/19/2015 to 01/30/2016 and then Daytona Beach from 01/30/2016 to 04/02/2016. Give us a call at 920.284.4879 if you want to hookup for a beer or three...
