Wyndham Transfer - Will the Points Expire??

We are in the process of transfering Wyndham points from another owner. The deed will be recorded on Monday, but since Wyndham takes ~ 8 weeks to finalize transfers, the points may not be transfered until January 2016.

Our use year is January 1-December 31. The owner who is transferring his ownership to us has a March use year end date. We are supposed to get the 2015 points with this transfer agreement.

Will the 2015 points be lost if the transfer goes through Wyndham's system in 2016, or will the points show in our account with a March 2016 end-date for the 2015 points?

The 2015 points expired March 31 of 2015. The points you are discussing now are already 2016 points. The use year is defined by the year in which the points expire, not the year in which they are awarded. Confusing, isn't it?

They will transfer as 2016 (not 2015) points with a March 31 2016 expiration.
