We have just checked into our unit and I am not pleased with what Wyndham is considering a full kitchen. We have been assigned half of a lock-off unit with a small galley type kitchen. It does have all the appliances but nowhere near what I would consider a full kitchen. We are tired from a full day of travel but I will be talking to the front desk tomorrow. Has any other Tug members stayed at this resort and been assigned a small full kitchen unit?

We were @ Club Wyndham Smoky Mountains for a quick last minute trip year in a 1 bdr and was shocked to find the pots and pans stored in a small dresser. I had called down to the desk because i couldnt find anything to make breakfast.

Smokey Mountains has a 1-bedroom suite and a 1-bedroom deluxe. Which did you book?

Well, what do you consider a full kitchen? If it has all the appliances, then I would consider that a full kitchen.

As @jwalk03 notes, there are large and small 1BRs. They are different booking categories. If you booked this internally via Wyndham, it is clear which one you are booking as the point values are different. If you booked it as an exchange, RCI lists the large 1BR as a "full" kitchen and the small one as a "mini".

Double check your confirmation to see which one you should be in.

If you were booked into a 1BR Deluxe unit, your kitchen should look like this, or very close to this.

If you are in a 1BR Suite, everything is along one wall, fridge is smaller, maybe no oven, and little counter space.

We don't know what type unit you were booked into so we can't say if you got what you paid for.

This problem has been resolved. I reserved a 1 bedroom deluxe with a full kitchen. When I checked in I was assigned the small adjoining room. I complained the next day and was moved into the deluxe room. If your room number ends in a 1 you have the deluxe side if your room ens in a 2 you have the adjoining room. The deluxe rooms is very nice.
