saw this posted on their official facebook page, certainly better than expected!

Post-Storm Update - We are pleased to inform you that everyone at the resort is safe following Hurricane Beryl. The resort itself sustained very little damage; however, there was significant damage to the beach and bar areas, and our phone system was impacted and will require days to repair. As such, ownership has made the decision to close the resort as of today at noon and reopen for rental guests on Saturday, July 13, 2024 to ensure safety and to meet quality of experience expectation.

Is this a timeshare property? I see it is located directly beside Morritts. I wonder what the impacts were there?
 
It is a TS, but not associated with Club Wyndham in any way. Just called that because the hotel is a Wyndham franchise, similar to Sheraton Buganvilias in PV. Post might be better in the Caribbean forum, @TUGBrian.
