You have "x" amount of days to legally rescind your contract, and you should do so immediately. The amount of days to rescind depend upon what state you made the transaction but usually there is a 3 day minimum wherever you did it.

Go to the Post Office and send them a CERTIFIED LETTER stating you wish to rescind your purchase. Anyone who signed the original contract should sign the rescission letter.

If you research these threads you will see a lot of information about rescinding your contract. Additionally, member "Grammarhero" is a Lawyer and a rescission expert, and you may want to contact him directly.

REMEMBER: Time is of the Essence! DO NOT WAIT.

As stated above, rescind if it isn’t too late. If it is past your rescission date, maybe you can have some success disputing the credit card charge. I suspect you probably signed something that allowed them to put the charge on the card but if they did indeed make a mistake, disputing the charge is an option. I was successful disputing a charge on my credit card recently. It wasn’t for a timeshare and was only $300, not $7000, but it’s a pretty simple process.

Is it $7000 that they just put on the wrong card or are you saying that there is a $7000 charge that wasn't disclosed in the paperwork? If it was put on the wrong card they should be able to fix that. If it was $7000 undisclosed you should be able to dispute. If it is $7000 disclosed in the paperwork but you didn't realize that it would be charged you still should be able to get it adjusted if it went on the wrong card. You would still owe it though.

If you are within the rescission period you have an easy remedy. Follow the instructions and undo everything.
