Planning a friends trip to Nashville, and wondering if Uber/Lyft options are good or if the resort is too far from town. We would need more than one vehicle each trip.

I haven't been there since Uber and Lyft have become so widely used, but the resort is only about 1 mile from the Grand Ole Opry.

kinda local -
so if your planning on hitting all the regular tourist type spots- you should be good to go w/ under & lift...and if its something thats to far out milage wise you could always rent a car for a day or too locally mid trip- for example heading to the Jack Daniel's distillery ...we have that planned for upcoming Vegas trip why pay for a week and have it sit in Grand Dessert parking lot if we only going to use it to get to hoover dam once...

Yeah, but it's about 11 miles to Honky Tonk Central downtown.

Hi, we're going to Nashville & Gatlinburg in May. I'm not a drinker, but my friends & DH occasionally do. Is the distillery & restaurant worth a stop on a long about drive to Gatlinburg? Thanks

We were there a few years ago & used the shuttle from the resort into downtown Nashville.

If saving money on transportation to downtown Nashville is important consider looking into the City bus system. It's super cheap compared to shuttles or Uber. There is a pickup point just down the road from the resort and across the road at the shopping center. The downside is the bus station is a good walk to the main part of the city...maybe 7 blocks.

Recently visited(fall) There is a shuttle that runs from the resort to A downtown drop off pick up point. I forget the daily cost per person, however we did attend the beat down and one of the included bribes was free shuttle tix. We bit the bullet for our group and went armed with NO grenades.
