Never hurts to remind. This time of year especially - it's a good reminder in our neighborhood. I don't know if it's because we're close to an interstate (easier access) - breakins are frustratingly high right now. And having worked in a gym, yikes - the stuff people would leave in full view (a gucci purse on the front seat with a couple hundred dollars cash in it - or someone would say - it was only my work clothes in the bag (on the back seat) - thieves don't mind busting out a window ($$$) to find out you bag of clothes is worthless to them). I learned (and still try to "train" people - put your stuff in your truck (or out of view) BEFORE you reach your destination. We just stayed at the Queen Mary and went to a ballgame at the LA Coliseum. We check out bags at the Queen Mary and picked them up after the game (rather than leave luggage in the car).
So I guess I'm off topic! On topic - Nashville is near and dear to my heart - it was a favorite of my Dad's (and a sort of half way stopping place between FL and NE for him for years. He loved it there and they treated him well. That said, my family stayed in June of this year. I have to admit it was a bit tired. Even the landscaping. Impressively the air conditioner in my daughters room broke down - maintenace had the right part and had it fixed in an hour or two. It was hot, there were no other rooms available (and who wants to move a family of 5 with 3 little ones 6 and under). Communication was poor - the front desk told us a different (later) closing time for the pool by us - maintenance (whoever does that) closed it earlier. No, we did not want to walk to the main pool (with 3 little ones) for an extra 1/2 hour of swimming. It's a great location, by the Grand Ol Opry and food court, etc. I can understand security issues. They have booking issues :-(
