What is the best Wyndham location near myrtle beach for a family with two small children? I have a 2 year old and 4 year old and was looking for something with a nice play pool for kids if possible. Do you know how many points it would cost for a 1 bedroom deluxe in peak time for the recommended resort?

Thank you

Bigbore - Do you mean “what is the best Wyndham Myrtle Beach” resort to stay at or to be a owner at?

Dues per thousand points and booking difficulty tend to be more important in terms of ownership.

Oceanfront/view and amenities tend to be more important when staying.

Wyndham Vacation Resorts Towers on the Grove at North Myrtle Beach is a good choice for having small kids. There is a small child’s play area/slide in the pool area with a lazy river. Resort is right on the beach. Points for a 1 BR are

Ocean Boulevard is great for kids. Lots of resort activities, lazy river, gas fire pits, gas grills, pools, game room, etc. And it's on the beach.

I used to own a Week at at Peppertree by the Sea which is diagonally across Ocean Blvd (on the ocean side) from the Wyndham. All I had to do is slide open the door and I could walk right on the beach. Is it comparable to the Wyndham? Not by a long shot. It is older, units are a lot smaller (probably too small for a family of 4) and it has an indoor pool. The big benefit is that I was a party of one, cheap and my Week cost me only $800...

Wyndham verses RCI - It seems more of Hawaii is available in RCI weeks than elsewhere? I have a good week in Grand Dessert LV, but will not use it only for trading and it has 154,000. points every other year. That's not much points in Wyndham but a lot more in RCI worth wise?
I also have a weeks account and it has more Maui locations than the points in RCI? I want to combine Oahu and Maui in the future and am wondering the best way to do it?
