I'm VIP Gold and get 35% off in the 60-day booking window. I have noticed on several reservations that I don't get the full discount, but have to pay a few points extra.

I booked 4 nights at Smugglers Notch.
Regular price is 22 000 points per night. The 35% discount equals 7 700 points per night.
4 x 22 000 points x 65% = 57 200 points after 35% discount.
The web site charges me 57 204 points.

Did Wyndham add a +1 per night in their code to compensate for decimal rounding?

Is this also a problem for other VIP-levels?

I’ve never had that issue. Is this something that just started happening in the last few days or has been happening for a while?

I haven't noticed anything like that. I'll pay closer attention, although I'm pretty confident it hasn't happened to me. I haven't had anything book that isn't a zero at the end.

That's really peculiar. Our discount is at the 50% level.
So the math is simpler!! :ponder:

I did a sample reservation at Smuggs for April 6-10. The
website successfully divided 88,000 by two. Personally,
I'd really enjoy seeing the source code that came up with
your 57,204 point charge - but I guess I would try not to
lose sleep over a 0.007% bad rounding error correction.

PS - anybody want a 4BRPR for 4 nights in April for
well under a hundred bucks a night in MF?? Looks
like it's there for the taking...

I have only seen this a couple of times in the past month. It does not happen on all reservations. I took a closer look when searching for 4 nights, and the additional 4 points show up on 2 BR Deluxe, 3 BR Plus and 3 BR Presidential. The rest of the rooms show the correct number of points.

National Harbour also shows the extra 4 points for a couple of unit types.

I've noticed it happens if some of reso days are outside of discount period. Eg. The latter half of the trip is outside of 60 days,so do not qualify for the discount.
