Wyndham Las Vegas -- wifi?

Thanks to you Tuggers we got our 2 BR for son's 50th at Wyndham Las Vegas in March. Went to website but it has minimal information. Questions:

1. Do units have capability of bringing your laptop and if so, is there a charge?

2. If not, are there computers in lobby or nearby for a charge?

3. Where is nearest supermarket? They'll be 8 of us there so eating in alot! Birthday boy will be in studio somewhere else with his wife.

4. Does their shuttle to Strip run 24 hours? Thank you all!

In room there is a charge. When we were last there is was down 80%+ of the time or such a weak signal to make it worthless. I understand they were changing vendors but I don't know if they have yet.

2. If not, are there computers in lobby or nearby for a charge?

Yes in the front tower. They converted a former exercise room into a computer center. They have PC's and places to use your laptop. Again the wireless was virtually worthless but the hard wired hook ups worked well.

3. Where is nearest supermarket? They'll be 8 of us there so eating in alot! Birthday boy will be in studio somewhere else with his wife.

There are a number of smaller stores within 10 - 15 blocks. Super Target and Walmart a few more blocks. You need a car.

4. Does their shuttle to Strip run 24 hours? Thank you all!

No. Til about 11 as I recall

Yes, a great resort. The pools are the best!

Wifi was down more than up.

If you don't want to drive, you can sign up for the shuttle to take you to the market... It's like market sweepstakes though, they don't give you alot of time ( I think it was 20-25 minutes)

I believe the shuttle does run till 11pm. But I also believe that Harrah's shuttles will bring you back to your resort till 2 am. (check on that though, we always walked)

WiFi

I was there January 2008, had pretty good luck with my connection (no charge), it was down occassionally but for me it was up more than down. Great resort, enjoyed it very much.
