Wyndham is closing a handful of legacy resorts - dedicated chart/tracker located in the first post for this unfolding set of events

So we are in the same boat, except I had three contracts (two now) and I still can use those 154K FG points.
It's probably easier to flip a switch on an account with only one contract to prevent the member number from making any reservation, than to let an owner make reservations but only up to a certain point (in which case the solution would probably to just remove the points/contract like they're supposed to).

What do you guys all do in Williamsburg anyway? Do you just stay at the resort? Do you like going back to the historical village a lot? So far for time / distance everyone in my family who's been to both prefer Massanutten or places in Vermont for similar drive time.
Williamsburg is one of the most history-rich places in the country. Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown may not be true bucket list places but they are definitely worthy of a visit. The Virginia Air and Space Science Center in Hampton is a good day trip. Norfolk has the largest Navy complex in the world a bit farther east on I-64. Lots to do in Norfolk. The Virginia Beach waterfront is about 90 minutes from Wmsburg. Busch Gardens/Water Country USA is just the other side of town.

The College of William and Mary is one of the three best public university in Virginia (with UVA and James Madison University).

I was homeported in Norfolk way back, owned a house in VA Beach before I was married. Had a 24 ft cruiser on a trailer parked at the Naval Amphibious Base. Nice boat ramp there with the Chesapeake Bay a few minutes away. Granted this was a few decades ago but the area is quite familiar. We've been to Williamsburg so many times and have done all the things mentioned above. So, mostly we hang out at the resort. Participate in many of the activities -- bingo, trivia, Sunday AM muffins and mimosas (where @HitchHiker71 and I met). Shoot some pool. Play some mini-golf. Hang out at the pool in season (me, not my wife).

We go to Governor's Green four or five times a year most years. Our last visit was short -- Thursday to Tuesday because I had a medical treatment both Wednesdays. Usually, we're there from ten days to two weeks at a time. We almost always see people we've met on previous visits. GG has some guests on extended stays, several weeks at a time until they are forced to check out and check back in. We know all the front desk people, management, activities staff, and some of the maintenance folks. My wife is a native Spanish speaker (but doesn't look it) so she surprises housekeeping and some maintenance people (Oh, you speak Spanish so well!) and keeps them from working because she likes to converse in her native language.

Last visit, we messed up our timing and arrived at 11:06 PM. The office closes at 11:00. But they saw us coming, knew it was us, and got us checked in at the guard shack. That's nice!

On the down side, summers in Virginia can be oppressive. Not Orlando oppressive but uncomfortably hot and humid. Less so at Massanutten because of the elevation.

This describes at least half of the posts on TUG---including, I am sure, several of mine.
Unthinking, overthinking, or just being contrary!

You know, I just realized, with the holding pattern I am in (and presumably others), I can't borrow points against next year. @HitchHiker71 Can you ask, please, in your next update, how Wyndham plans on handling folks who has contracts that are still waiting to go poof, and don't have those points in their account for when this happens? Example: I am waiting for 154k points to disappear so I am keeping 154k points in the account. Hopefully they get to this by June, but who knows. Let's say I want to make a quick reservation for a weekend at Newport that opened up, so I use 12k of those points. How does Wyndham plan to recoop those those points when the time to shore up happens? Cancel a current reservation I have (no bueno)? Deduct from next use years (essentially borrowing)? Or charging me $12 or whatever they get per 1000 points I've used?

If they shore this up by June, I don't really see an issue, but on the off seasons, I sometimes make an express reservation for a two night stay somewhere, when my schedule permits (used to be AC, Shawnee or Newport). But it's a big if this situation will be finalized for me by June. Remember, this broke last summer, and Q1 is already done and I (along with others) am basically in the same place I was when this news broke, except my MFs went down.

For those of us that traded, they have done that I would assume when they get around to removal, FG will be near the top of the list. Others have reported that although the points are still showing, they cannot be used.

Pretty sure I can use my FG points.
The limitation @comicbookman was referencing appears to be limited only to user accounts that only hold impacted contracts, as opposed to accounts like yours that contain both impacted and non-impacted contracts.
